Selection Criteria
- Batting: Stance, Grip, and Footwork. Focus on Shot Selection, Timing, and Match Awareness (prioritize proper cricketing shots over trying to hit every ball for a six).
- Bowling: Consistency in Action, Line & Length, and Speed/Spin control. We look for the ability to perform under pressure.
- Fielding & Keeping: High/Low catching and Direct Hits. For keepers, we focus on glove technique and quick footwork.
- Selectors will evaluate basic fitness: 2-3 running laps, Sprint tests, and Agility drills.
